IMPORTANCE AND RELEVANCE OF THE CONFERENCE
The subject of mathematical analysis is of interest in its own right, and it also serves to lay the foundations for different fields of pure and applied mathematics. Researchers across the world are actively involved in analysing and developing different theories of mathematics which are applicable to real-world problems. Through this conference, the recent progress and advances in the different fields of mathematical analysis will be shared. We try to bring fruitful research directions and collaborations in this field.
AIM AND OBJECTIVE OF THE CONFERENCE
- To exchange and disseminate the recent developments and advances in the area of Mathematical Analysis and Applications.
- To encourage the young researchers to study and pursue the research in recent topics of Mathematical Analysis
- To share the recent progress and advances in the area of Mathematical Analysis, Applications, and related fields.
- To bring fruitful directions and collaborations in this field.
- To provide a platform for researchers to present their findings and to give them an opportunity to interact with the experts working in the field.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of Mathematics, ADBU started as an independent department in Assam Don Bosco University from 1st April, 2018. Initially it was a constituted of the department of Basic Sciences, School of Technology, ADBU. From July 2018, the department introduced B.Sc Honours in Mathematics and M.Sc. Mathematics programmes. Apart from UG and PG programmes in Mathematics, the department also has a vibrant PhD programme. The department has a robust research ambience manifested by the wide range of research areas including number theory, algebra, analysis, optimization, graph theory, data science, fluid dynamics, mathematics education etc. The department conducts workshops and hosts lectures delivered by eminent academicians at regular intervals to acquaint itself with state of the art in teaching and research. As a part of social commitment, the department strives for various outreach programmes to disseminate education to the ones lacking sufficient resource.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) is a state private, non-profit, co-educational, catholic research university located in the lush greens of the Tapesia Gardens at Kamarkuchi in Sonapur, Assam.
The university was founded on March 29, 2008 by the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB). It is Assam’s first-ever state university in the private sector and was set up by the Assam Don Bosco University Act 2009 under the State Private Universities Act 2007 of the Government of Assam. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with 2f and 12B status and accredited with ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
